With more than 25 years’ experience working at established Danish firms, Lars is an experienced IP litigator, conducting infringement proceedings before the Danish courts, as well as assisting clients in coordinating cross-border group actions.

Among his key cases, Lars represented the world’s largest supplier of games against the Danish Ministry of Taxation in a case concerning the lawfulness of the Danish state monopoly on gaming activities.

Playing an active role in the IP industry, Lars holds panel and committee posts for the International Trademark Association (INTA) and European Commission Trademark Association, and is an external lecturer at the University of Aarhus.

 

Education

Lars achieved his law degree from the University of Aarhus in 1991. He is authorised as a lawyer to appear before the Danish Supreme Court.

Qualifications

LLM, Certified Danish Patent Agent (CDPA), European Trade Mark Attorney, European Design Attorney, external lecturer in intellectual property law at the University of Aarhus

Member of the International Trademark Association (INTA), European Commission Trademark Association (ECTA), Danish Institute for Intellectual Property (DIFI), LES and MARQUES.
